Oh No!

November 25, 2008

Its the cops. Yep you guessed I got pulled over tonight for the first time in my life. I was driving on the closed road….. And I drove past this truck and I was like shoot! Its a cop! And so here came the flashing lights and I pulled over. Lol. Then he checked my drivers license and all that good stuff, and asked if michael was my brother, and I was like no. Hes my boyfriend, and yeah, then he sent me on his way… Weird if you ask me. Maybe he was wanting a date or something lol. I doubt it, but I can always think that way if I would like. Anyways, that was the highlight of tonight… Well that and I had to go spend 900 dollars on new tires… eww. That is a lot of money!

FBI Agent

November 23, 2008

The FBI had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks,
interviews and testing were done, there were 3 finalists; two men and a woman. For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun. ‘We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances.”

Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair . . . Kill her!!’ The man said, ‘You can’t be serious. I could never shoot my wife.’ The agent said, ‘Then you’re not the right man for this job. Take your wife and
go home.’

The second man was given the sam e instructions. He took the gun and went into
the room. All was quiet for about 5 minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, I tried, but I can’t kill my wife.’ The agent said, “You don’t
have what it takes. Take your wife home.’

Finally, it was the woman’s turn.. She was given the same instructions, to
kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard, one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls.
After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the
woman, wiping the sweat from her brow. ‘This gun is loaded with blanks’ she said. ‘I
had to beat him to death with the chair.’

MORAL:
Women are crazy.
Don’t mess with them.

Life, Audiofics, and Winter Plans

So, Mike and I have been working on reproducing a site that we once had up called Audiofics. So far we have gotten 10 chapters of one audiofic uploaded. If you are interested in reading the audiofic it is a Harry Potter fanfic, and you can access the story from our site Audiofics.net If you have any suggestions on stories that you would like to see on there email us at admin@audiofics.net and we will look into getting them up.
Secondly, Mike and I have been trying to get arrangements for going South and whatnot, unfortunately were trying to figure things out becuase the flights are mostly full so there isnt really going to be room for Michael’s dog. So Mike is going to call Monday and see if there is any way we could get seats that have room for his dog and whatnot. So hopefully we can figure something out.
Well, anyways that is all I got for right now. Hope ya all are having a good weekend. Also I will post a joke here momentarily. Havent posted one in awhile now.

Audiofics

November 18, 2008

So, this is just a quick update to let you all know that Mike and I have been working on audiofics. Mike had this site up once. But, the site retired a few months ago, and we didnt renew the page. Since then we have had people interested in us started up a site like this again. So the past few days Michael and I have been working on redesigning a site for Audiofics.
If you are curious as to what Audiofics is it is a site with fanfiction. However, we have taken the fanfics with permission from the authors and have converted them into audio. So you as a reader, can just simply listen to an audio file. These can be downloaded so that you can listen to them on an ipod, or in itunes. Just like an audiobook. However, you can also just simply listen to them on the site itself.
However, as of right now, we have only got a Harry Potter Fanfic converted. If you have any fanfics that you would like to see in audio format on our site please let us know we would be happy to check into getting those converted for you with permission of the authors. Just simply email us at admin@audiofics.net and either Michael or I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Other than that feel free to visit our newly launched site. Audiofics.net
And check back frequently as there will always be new things added to the site, its a work in progress!

The Future is in Deep Shit

November 16, 2008

So, I was going to try to reframe from posting a joke for awhile, but I recieved this one in an email today and it caught my attention. It is by far one of the greatest jokes that I have got in a long time. So anyways, here it is I think you will all greatly enjoy this one. Oh my how kids minds work.

Whether Democrat or Republican, you should get a kick out of this!
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, ‘ What is Politics? ‘
Dad says, ‘ Well son, let me try to explain it this way:
I am the head of the family , so call me The President.
Your mother is the administrator of the money, so! we call her the
Government.
We are here to take care of your needs, so we will call you
the People.
The nanny, we will consider her the
Working Class.
And your baby brother, we will call him the Future.
Now think about that and see if it makes sense. ‘
S o the little boy! Goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said.
Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him.
He finds that the baby has severely
soiled his diaper.

So the little boy goes to his parents ‘ room and finds his mother asleep.
Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny ‘ s room Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny.
He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father, ‘ Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now. ‘
The father says, ‘ Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about. ‘
The little boy replies,
‘The President is screwing the Working Class while the Government is sound asleep.
The People are being ignored and the
Future is in deep shit.

AmeriCorp!

November 15, 2008

So, Today I filled out an application to work as a volunteer through AmeriCorp. They have a program through RurAL CAP for Health and Ecology volunteers within communities. It so happens that Southeast Island School District was looking for an individual that would be interested in applying for this position. If I were to get this position it would mean that I would help out within our community with various volunteer efforts. Including things such as but not limited to, Recycling, Greenhouse, Clean-up, and helping within the local classroom. This would benefit our community greatly. So hopefully I will receive this position. It would get me 1200 a month and then after a year I would get 4700 towards school. Which is great! This would also mean that for a week during January I would be traveling up to Anchorage where I would attend classes on how to be a successful AmeriCorps member, and provide me with some ideas to implement within the community.

Secondly, Mike and I still have not bought our tickets to leave Montana. I guess we should do that relatively soon. It would most likely be a good idea. I have been working a quiet bit within the last month or so. Which is great, I have been earning some money, which helps me out with car payments and what not.

Also, Mike got his teeth fixed yesterday! They look great, however, they have seemed to be painful for the last couple days. Which sucks. But I guess he shouldnt have went and broke his teeth as a kid… Lol Kidding.

Anyways, Hope that ya all have a great weekend!

Bought the tickets!!!

November 11, 2008

Well, last night Mike and I bought the tickets to go to Montana for a week during Christmas break. This should be very interesting as neither one of us have ever been there. Where exactly are we going you ask….. Whitefish, MT. Yep. It appears that it is a smaller town, so we will see. We were talking about bringing Mike’s brother Josh up to Alaska, but as of right now. I don’t know if that is going to happen. Now all we have to do is buy our tickets down to Coos Bay, which we are having difficulties finding as the airlines just switched.

Redneck Joke

November 6, 2008

Two rednecks were looking at a Sears catalog and admiring the models.
One says to the other, ‘Have you seen the beautiful girls in this catalog?’

The second one replies, ‘Yes, they are very beautiful. And look at the price’.

The first one says, with wide eyes, ‘Wow, they aren’t very expensive. At this price, I’m buying one.’

The second one smiles and pats him on the back. ‘Good idea! Order one and if she’s as beautiful as she is in the catalog, I will get one too.’

Three weeks later, the youngest redneck asks his friend, ‘Did you ever receive the girl you ordered from the Sears catalog?’

The second redneck replies, ‘No, but it shouldn’t be long now. I got her clothes yesterday!’

Update on the Life of Me:)

So I thought that I would update ya all. Haven’t wrote a blog in about a week.

First of all, Yesterday, was elections, to determine who our president was going to be for the next 4 years. And Obama won. Which I was very excited about I have been hoping that he would win. I didnt want to see Palin, Vice President. Alaskas name would have kept going downhill. Well, not only for that reason did I want Obama to be president. Anyways, This will mark a day in history forever. Our first black president.

Secondly, Felton, My nephew has started basketball season. We have went to about 3 of his games. They have greatly improved. In the two weeks that they have been playing. I am very proud of his whole team. They are doing great!

Mike and I purchased our Miles to get flights to Montana with… Its cheaper that way. Now we jsut have to get the tickets. Lol. We are going to leave on the 14th is the plan as of right now.

Anyways, thats about all I have to share right now. Have a good week!
